What: The 2009 2nd Congressional District Convention

When: April 18th, 2009 - 10 AM

Where: Best Western - 2701 County Road CX, Portage, WI 53901

Speakers include Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, State Assembly Speaker Mike Sheridan, State Assembly Majority Leader Tom Nelson, State Senator Mark Miller, State Representative Fred Clark

Party business include Chairman’s report, Platform & Resolutions, Constitutional office elections.

To be a delegate, contact your local county party Chairperson (you must be a dues-paying member of the party by the day of the convention).  Convention registration fee is $15 at the door, $10 student or low-income.

Constitutional offices up for election in 2009 are: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Representative to state party Administrative Committee, Treasurer, Secretary, Alternate to the chair for the state party Administrative Committee, Alternate to the Representative to the state party Administrative Committee, state Platform & Resolutions committee Representative.
